How will you keep your OFSTED license if your business fails?
Phoenix Company Consultants has received several requests recently for assistance from private schools and crèches. We have past experience of identifying opportunities for both types of trading companies to transfer to a “phoenix” company, whilst still retaining their Ofsted Licence.
We have successfully negotiated the turnaround of a crèche/playgroup where the Director had received several cancellations from parents who had lost their employment causing a negative cash-flow. With our help & the support of the landlord & bank; the Director’s business was restructured into a new company. Ofsted recognised and supported this new company.
Similarly, we have helped several private schools where pupils have been withdrawn, leaving term fees outstanding & placing staff wages at risk. Again, by acting swiftly we were able assist the Directors in keeping the schools trading via a phoenix company. In most circumstances the trading names of the schools remain unchanged protecting local reputation.
